Tell us a little about each and how the impact your fishing:

The season: May-June. We fish for BIG topwater stripers and Extra Large Bluefin Tuna.  July and Aug. We focus on offshore exotics.  Sept-Nov its TUNA TIME ON CAPE COD!

Location: Anywhere and EVERYWHERE.  We trailer a 60mph boat with 400 gallons of gas.  NOTHING IS OFF LIMITS!!!

The Structure: Varies from spot to spot, but we love a good RIPTIDE!

Method: Cover lots of ground to find breaking fish and sight cast to the larger fish in the school.

Hogy Selection: I use the white and amber most of the time to resemble the prevailing baitfish.  Bbubble gum colors when the fish are on Squid.

The time of Day: All day long. Somewhere the fish are feeding like crazy its my job to find them

Tides: Stripers will favor either tide without warning. 1hour either side of peak is best.  Tuna love the SLACK!

Weather Conditions: Overcast and rainy days are the best, but we find them no matter what.

What boat: My 33’ Contender with twin 300hp Mercury Verados lets me fish where others can’t run to in conditions that leave the rest of the fleet at the dock!

Special Tip: Leave small fish to find the larger ones.  Never stay on an average bite or fight with a crowd.  Find your own fish and enjoy being there by yourself!
