Rigging Video: Hogy Lobster
Hogy X – Strong Jig Head
We recommend at least a 1-ounce jig head rigged Maine Style which means from below and out the top of the tail.
This buoyant lobster will hold its claws up and out in a defensive pose as it bounces along, perfectly replicating a baby lobster trying to escape its fate. Let the Lobster settle on the bottom and begin working it in with short twitches, be patient and allow extended pauses. Any current will pulsate the buoyant claws, teasing any interested fish. Use this bait during low light periods, when lobsters would naturally be on the move.
