Big Stripers from Chattanooga River in Tennessee caught on a 10” Bone Hogy rigged Texas Style!

Caught a couple on the “popping” Hogy and caught several on the hogy in the picture including the 24 lb fish and broke off on another striper in the twenties.

Good afternoon,

I do not know if you will remember me but my Name is Jess Settem. I asked you to pour me some Rainbow trout imitations which you did. Well they are SICK! I am going to attach some photos of some big Bass that I got using your bait. I would like to talk about getting some of those in my hands to give to a bunch of my buddies who fish big baits for big bass. I told them about the lure and they want them badly.

Hey Mike,

Thought you might like the attached photo. I've been fly fishing the Little River in South Dartmouth almost every August night for the past twenty five years, and it's consistently produced bass from schoolie size to fish in the small keeper class. That is until two nights ago when I decided to give my fly rod a rest and break out the light spinning gear tipped with a 10" black/pearl Hogy. The fish below was caught on the second cast, measured 39" and weighed just north of 20 pounds.

Suffice it to say I'm a Hogy believer.

We fished your 10" weedless rigged soft baits at the Susquehanna Flats.  By far the most productive lure we used yesterday....

Thanks Mike.  Chatham is getting closer.  We will probably make the first trip in June and then again the middle of July.  I am going to leave my boat up there for 3 months, or so.  Perhaps you could join us for a day?
