This special Hogy is designed as a swim-bait to be fished on jig heads but functions as a dynamite popper when rigged texas style with a single offset worm hook. With no hook groove, the Jiggn' Poppin' Hogy fits just about any LARGE JIG. Its blunt head and solid body are extremely durable but still feature the same amazing Hogy Action.

I have been meaning to send you this. Got it the last week of June on a 10 inch white jigging hogy with a 8/0 weighted grip hook. Tried the fly rod and surface plugs before this worked on breezing tuna in flat calm seas and bright sun. Funny thing is that I grabbed two hogys out of a pack and tossed them in my tackle bag at the last minute at 3:00am walking out my garage door.

From now on, hogys are standard equipment when I am not throwing flies !
