Specs: Length: 7", Weight: 1/2 oz, Patent Pending Hook Slot

The 7-inch Hogy is stubby in design and can be fished like a traditional jerk bait or on small jig heads. The special blend of Hogy Brand plastic is extra life-like and tough too.

Function: The 7" Hogy is equally popular with fresh and salt water anglers and was designed to replicate smaller, wounded baitfish. Weighing nearly ½ ounce unrigged, it is designed for superior casting distance when compared to other soft plastics. It's wider profile is designed to elicit strikes from larger game fish.

Action: This bait is designed to "walk the dog" with perfection. This bait also fishes well on smaller jigs. Its buoyant nature enables a walk the dog action even on small jigs.

Freshwater!

Hello Hogy Lure Company,

I was recently introduced to your Hogy 7" Black Lure and This is my testimonial:

I am a freshwater fisherman, and I have caught more fish on a Hogy than all the tackle in my tackle box. I really like the life like action. This swimbait has produced many of the fish species I have targeted over the years. I use a lot of artificial lures but nothing has compared to the action and the success I have gained by using your lures. Thanks so much for the fun times and all the fish I have been catching. I will remain loyal to your company, you are my new best friend. Thank you for a terrific product.

Hey Mike,
I love your 7" original 1.5 oz., so do the big Redfish. I usually use smaller soft shade lures rigged with an offset hook with ok results but when we used the the larger 7".. .wow!! 40" plus reds. We fish from kayaks in and around Mosquito Lagoon where a lot of anglers can't go. It seems the shallower the water, the bigger the lure, the BIGGER the Redfish.

I wish I had a camera Tuesday, the 11th of this month. We were fishing from the kayaks in Peacocks Pocket, an area near where the Shuttle takes off. My buddy saw from a distance what looked like a small alligator near the shore. Getting closer it was a 45"+ Red messing with a crab in about 12" of water. Pete threw one of your Hogys over it and drug it in front of the fish. That thing grabbed it and made a splash like a man... 25 minutes later he landed it, it was about 48" long with only 2 spots.

Around here in Brevard County Florida the only dealer who carries your products is in Port Canaveral and he only carries the real large ones for offshore. I saw your website and ordered directly.

I will continue to use your lures, I love them. when the waters warm up I know I will tear some Snook and Tarpon up!! Latching on to a large fish on a kayak using artifical lures is unbelivable. No one around here has a website dedicated specifically to Intercoastal saltwater fishing so I'm starting one. Please give me a few months to get it looking and running properly. Thanks again Mike.

Michael,

This is Trevor at ct-outfitters Just writting to you an update on my use of hogy's they are AMAZING. In norwich harbor I have been using the 7' on a 1/2oz lead head. Between my partner and I we have caught 100+ fish on hogys the action is something else. I can not wait to try them pike fishing or when the big stripers start to move in. I will keep you updated and send you some pictures as the season goes on Thanks again

Thanks Mike,

Met you last year a a few shows and the Striperfest. Jack loves fishing with the Hogy Lures. I am also loving them. Caught a 31 pounder in Woods Hole Sunday night with a doublewide. I fish them tight to the rocks and let the rip take it down. The Bass love it. I also soaked the doublewides in bunker oil over the winter. Don't know if this has helped but they have been working great. Chris Daigneault
