When the bite slowed down I decided to rig up a 10″ Hogy Drop shot style and through it to the bottom. By the time I hit the bottom my Rod tip was jerking very hard. I reeled down on the fish and had several headshakes on the way up. When I finally boated the fish it was a 25lb lingcod (Jackpot).
